Nestled in the Shivalik foothills at the northern periphery of the State of Punjab, The Kikar Lodge is India’s First Private Forest Reserve spread over 1800 acres of forest, a secluded haven of luscious green splendour.
Garden View Room
Built as double storey blocks, the eight Garden view rooms are divided into deluxe suites and rooms. Master suites have separate living areas with an earthy feel, overlooking the lush green meadow. The living room comes equipped with a sofa-cum bed, great for that extra guest, a television, small refrigerator, writing desk. The Garden View Room have similar additions as the Master suites, excluding the living area. Along with teak wood flooring and warm clay tiles, guests can also enjoy the immensely comfortable beds with crisp white sheets placed to perfection.
Pool Side Cottages
Ten spacious cottages overlooking the swimming pools, are equipped with comfortable Double beds, large mirror and a dresser. The advantage here is the proximity and gorgeous view of the swimming pools and, shack and amphitheater area.
Pool Side Cottages have similar additions as the Master suites excluding the living area. They come fully equipped with a built in cupboard, writing desk, elegantly designed bathroom and a comfortable bed and not to miss out on the great views
Forest view cottages
A short walk from the reception area, the twelve Forest view cottages boast of their own private sit out area, a small garden and a magnificent view of the expansive forest.
This cluster of cottages is a hot favorite especially for corporate clients or family groups with a large number of people wanting to reside in close proximity. Wake up to the sound of bird calls in the Forest view rooms which are spacious. The bathroom has a skylight from which natural light streams in, bringing you closer to nature in every way possible.
Family suites
Family suites offer more comfort and give your family more space, while keeping everyone together. Each of our family suites (two Pool view suites and two Garden view suites) can accommodate up to a couple and two kids up to twelve years of age.
Dream Luxury Tent
The Oasis Dream Luxury Tent encompasses 5 layered, heat and weather resistant roof canopy. The tent contains the master bedroom and an ensuite bathroom and dressing area, overlooking the swimming pool.
The Kikar Lodge has three large swimming pools along with a small kiddie-pool. One of the swimming pool also has the facility for water polo.
While the adults take a dip in the pool, there is a play area nearby with swings & slides where the children can enjoy themselves under the watchful eyes of their parents.
With a seating capacity of 40-60, corporate clients can have fruitful seminars in the hall equipped with projector facilities followed by team building exercises in the outdoors.
Music streams in from one corner of the shack, where you can sit out and enjoy a cool drink, have snacks and enjoy the view of the pool and green gardens, especially in the summer.
A place to relax, read a book, or hear soft music. This area can also be used as a private dining for a family or small group on request.
Our existing activities suit the needs of those wanting to stay indoors or those wanting to be in the outdoors.
One can enjoy the Game Room where you can play a game of table tennis, sit down and relax while playing carom and other board games.
This area is used for bonfires, candlelit dinners near the pool or even Corporate Group speeches.
